In a pretty boring game that saw zero goals, two tired MLS teams fought to a draw.

San Diego FC ties Sporting KC 0-0

In a game that felt mismatched from the beginning, San Diego FC was only able to get a single point out of a 0-0 tie against Sporting Kansas City on Saturday evening at Snapdragon Stadium.

In the first half, SDFC dominated possession and got off 4 shots to just 1 for SKC, but they had nothing to show for it as they entered halftime tied 0-0. As Darren Smith mentioned on the radio broadcast, it felt like it was just a matter of time before the dam broke for San Diego's scoring. They seemed to have all of the momentum.

In the 2nd half, there was no dam to break. All there was on the pitch were two exhausted teams, both having played 3 games over the last 7 days, trying to fight against their bodies unsuccessfully. And no amount of substitutions put out there by Mikey Varas, who tried like hell to get fresh legs and attacking players into the mix for SDFC, could stem the tide.
