Chucky Lozano returns to help San Diego FC win 4th straight game
San Diego FC saw the return of superstar Chucky Lozano from injury and needed his help to hold off FC Dallas for their 4th straight win.
Four straight wins is an incredible achievement for an expansion SDFC club that played on Wednesday and is dealing with many of their regular players out. And FC Dallas didn't make it easy for San Diego FC this time.
San Diego fell behind to FC Dallas 2-1 in the 57th minute and ended up needing late goals from substitutes Hirving "Chucky" Lozano (making his return from injury) and Tomás Ángel (who broke the tie with a goal in stoppage time) to avoid leaving Texas with a loss. Let's take a look at the goals scored...
Anders Dreyer, still apparently riding high after being named to the MLS All-Star Team, went down inside the box and got a penalty shot pretty early on. And, as he typically does, he got the keeper to guess wrong and put the ball in the net with ease:
