Four straight wins is an incredible achievement for an expansion SDFC club that played on Wednesday and is dealing with many of their regular players out. And FC Dallas didn't make it easy for San Diego FC this time.

San Diego fell behind to FC Dallas 2-1 in the 57th minute and ended up needing late goals from substitutes Hirving "Chucky" Lozano (making his return from injury) and Tomás Ángel (who broke the tie with a goal in stoppage time) to avoid leaving Texas with a loss.
