Milan Iloski leads SDFC to a win in Vancouver & the top of the conference standings

San Diego FC, more than halfway through their first MLS season, now sit atop the Western Conference standings after going on the road and beating Vancouver Whitecaps FC 5-3. That's not the only reason to celebrate tonight, SDFC may have found themselves a future MLS star.

In his first MLS start ever, 25-year old Escondido-native Milan Iloski continued his offensive tear through the league. He scored three times over 9 minutes in the first half, the 2nd fastest hat trick in MLS history, following a game against Minnesota where he scored twice in the second half.

That means that Milan Iloski scored 5 goals in 90 minutes of soccer, or one full game. Shortly after his third goal, he was averaging a goal scored for every 31 minutes played this season for SDFC.
