Hells Bells returns to Petco Park
On their second night at Petco Park, the Savannah Bananas needed a closer. Luckily for them, one of the greatest closers of all time was in the bullpen.

If you've been living under a rock, you might've missed the news. The world famous Savannah Bananas played a series against The Firefighters on Friday and Saturday night at Petco Park.
All Savannah Bananas games are streamed on YouTube, so I watched Friday night's matchup and waited to see which former Padres great would be throwing on the bright yellow uniform and playing in front of the San Diego fans.
The answer that night was Heath Bell, who came in to get an out and then flossed on the mound.
Heath Bell was on the list of potentials when Darren and I talked about this a few weeks ago, but he wasn't one of the first names that we listed.

We both agreed that, if he could still lift the leg up that high, the best possible choice would be Trevor Hoffman. He didn't get to end his career with the Padres, meaning that there was still time for one more round of AC/DC's "Hells Bells" to be played at Petco Park.
