The star winger will travel with the team to Providence Park and come off the bench in Game 2 of the best-of-three, first-round playoff series between the two teams, coach Mikey Varas said on Thursday.
Lozano, 30, hasn’t played since throwing what sources described as a locker-room tantrum at halftime of SDFC’s Oct. 4 match against the Houston Dynamo. He did not make the trip to Portland for the club’s Oct. 18 regular-season finale, and was in street clothes for Sunday’s playoff opener; SDFC won both matches against the Timbers.

"Based on everything that we've seen, he'll be traveling to Portland and he'll be coming off the bench for us," Varas told reporters.
Asked what Lozano had shown in training, Varas responded: "Just that he wants to be a part of the group, it's the most important thing, [showing] through your actions that you want to be part of the group."

In Tverskov’s first year in MLS, he was called up to the MLS All-Star Game and led the league with the most touches (3,249) and the most passes attempted (2,933). Jeppe is a great contributor offensively for a central defensive midfielder, with 45 key passes that lead to a shot, which ranks 33rd in the league. On the defensive side of the ball, Tverskov has 65 tackles, has 47 tackles won, and leads the league in interceptions with 68. Tverskov is just an all-around great player and an amazing player to have in the midfield.
