After talking a bit about the 2025 World Series matchup between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Los Angeles Dodgers, Darren Smith and John Gennaro talk about Albert Pujols' prospects as an MLB manager (who will be interviewed by the San Diego Padres tomorrow) and Carlos Hernandez throwing his hat in the ring before John throws out an outside-the-box idea that hasn't yet been brought up for who could be the next manager in San Diego.

Later, the guys discuss the news that the Padres' Dominican Republic Scouting Coordinator, who has been credited with signing Ethan Salas, Leodalis De Vries and Emmanuel Clase, has joined the Colorado Rockies and wonder how it ties to the extension talks between A.J. Preller and the Padres.

In the final few minutes, the guys talk about opening night of the NBA season (tonight!) and the overwhelming amount of praise being thrown at Darren's New York Knicks.
