How it's supposed to work (and how you can help)

I'm going to start with an admission: I am not perfect. I am good at a lot of things, but I am not perfect. That being said, I fully expect there to be some technical glitches along the way in the first few days and weeks of this venture that I have to deal with. If there isn't, I won't be upset.
So, first and foremost, you can reach me here if you need help with anything. There are some complicated systems working with each other behind the scenes, so don't feel like you're bothering me if you have a question or run into an issue.
The Free Trial
I have set all of the paid memberships to have a 30-day free trial attached to them. Call it an Opening Day special. Nobody will be charged before that 30 days is up, so feel free to sign up and check things out before deciding if you want to cancel or keep subscribing.
If you are already receiving Section 1904 emails and are confused because you never signed up here, it's because I moved all Bandwagon Beach subscribers over here as free Section 1904 subscribers. That Substack won't be used anymore.
How it's supposed to work
When you subscribe to Section 1904, you should receive an email from us, letting you know that you have subscribed. All future posts on the site (podcast episodes, written blogs, etc.) will be sent out this way, so it won't be the last you hear from us.
If you subscribed to one of the paid tiers, you should also receive an email from our podcast host with your unique RSS feed for the private supporters feed. Pretty much every podcast app besides Spotify has a way to let you add an RSS feed, but they all do it a little different.
Here are several examples:
In a few weeks, people subscribed to the free/public podcast feed will only be promised partial episodes and partial blog posts on the site (There will be occasional free episodes and blog posts).
If you were subscribed to the Bandwagon Beach podcast feed before this, that is being converted into the Section 1904 free/public podcast feed. The only way to get the private supporters feed is to subscribe on Section1904.com and receive your unique private RSS feed via email.
Where we could use your help
Section 1904 is going to be growing with time. Not just in terms of the people or the content, but in terms of the value to subscribers.
We want to add a place where the community can talk amongst themselves. We have ideas for merch. We have some ideas for live events. But, more than anything, we want to hear what you want from us.
If you are a subscriber, even a free one, you should be able to access the comments at the bottom of this post. Please let us know the type of things you have seen and liked from other communities or ideas that you have to make this one great.
