San Diego kids dream big on potential SDFC jerseys

San Diego FC is just seven matches into their inaugural MLS season, but there has already been plenty of conversation amongst fans and some local media about the team's white kit lacking color.

Interestingly enough, the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego saw a blank canvas instead of an understated soccer kit and teamed up with San Diego's Hoover High School to see how some of the team's younger fans might envision the jersey looking in the future.

The jerseys were made in collaboration between Hoover High School's Advanced Drawing and Painting class, San Diego FC's Playmakers Initiative, and the Education and Engagement Department at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego.

The jerseys are up now and will be on display at MCASD until April 20. The museum is opened Thursday-Sunday 11a-7p, and next Thursday (every Thursday night is Jazz Night!) they offer free admission. Get yourself out to La Jolla and check out these beauties!
